Regions Bank in White House was robbed about 2pm this afternoon. According to White House Police Chief the suspect is a white male 6′ tall in his 30’s wearing a dark hoodie, bandanna and glasses and is carrying a pistol. He fled on foot behind the building but officials believe and older model blue Volvo with a damaged front bumper that may have been involved.
Update 2:34pm Woodall Elementary School, White House Heritage Elementary School and White House High School will be holding dismissal until officials have completed a thorough search of the area. Hendersonville’s Police Department’s K-9 unit is assisting in the search for the suspect.

On 18 December 12 at approximately 1400 hours, W.H.P.D. officers responded to a robbery at Regions Bank, located at 204 HWY 76 in White House. At approximately 1355 hours, the suspect walked into the bank displayed a weapon and demanded money. The suspect is described as a white male, mid 30’s, approximately 6’1, with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored, hooded jacket and sun glasses. The suspect fled on foot heading north toward a subdivision behind the bank and possibly got into an older model, dark-colored Volvo, or similar vehicle, with damage to the front bumper. The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
Several Robertson County Schools were placed on temporary lockdown, so officers could deploy a canine unit to attempt to track the suspect.
