The driver of a pickup truck was lifeFlighted to Vanderbilt Medical center in Nashville after the truck he was driving left the roadway on Distillery Rd. (Exact Location Of Wreck) just outside of Greenbrier. The accident occurred around 6:30PM Thursday evening. Here are the preliminary details to the Robertson Co Distillery Rd incident.
UPDATE: Smokey has Received the accident report from the THP.
The names of the occupants have been released, they are Christian Brown (18) of Springfield who was the passenger and Daniel Wooten (23) of Greenbrier who was the driver. Wooten was flown to Vanderbilt Medical Center In Nashville. According to the report, Wooten will face charges of “Failure to maintain lane, Reckless Driving.” Both Brown and Wooten were wearing their safety belts.
THP Crash Description:
“The driver of a 1999 Ford F-150 was attempting to negotiate a curve on Distillery Road. The driver allowed the 1999 Ford F-150 to cross the center line, it is at this time the driver lost control of the vehicle and exited the roadway from the left shoulder. Once the vehicle exited the roadway it struck a tree on the drivers side.”
According to a representative at Vanderbilt Medical Center Wooten was treated and released. Brown suffered only minor injuries.
