Robertson County started it’s Celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day with a parade through Main St in Springfield and a community service with a reenactment of the famous Martin Luther King speech, interpretive dance and a heartfelt message by Police Chief David Thompson blew the roof off with a message of encouragement to the families in our community regarding the rise in violence and how we can promote change starting at home with our children. Dave’s message starts at 08:20.
King’s Speech UNINTERRUPTED- In honor of Martin Luther King Jr Day, Keith Pitts does an outstanding (over the top) job recreating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s – I Have A Dream Speech at the Center in Springfield.
