VIDEO: Two Teens Transported Following Head-On Crash In Springfield

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Here’s a look at that crash on Memorial Blvd in Springfield Tuesday evening. The crash occurred at the Central Ave intersection, the first call coming into 911 at 4:48 pm.

Two teens were transported to TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield with “non-critical” injuries, according to Robertson County EMS.

The crash involved a passenger car and a van equipped with an atrial lift or lift bucket. The crash pushed the passenger car into the intersection and the van landed on the landscaping of Honey Suckle Market. MAP

The crash snarled traffic on Memorial Blvd for about an hour while police investigated and crews cleared the scene.

Springfield Police are leading the investigation into the crash but no official cause has been released. The driver of the van was not injured.

Robertson County EMS, the Springfield Fire Department, and Springfield Police all responded to the scene.
