Voting With COVID In Robertson County

ROBERTSON COUNTY TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Today thousands of Robertson Countians exercised their right to vote and not even COVID-19 could stop them.

Smokey Barn News dropped by the Robertson County election headquarters in Springfield to talk to the Administrator of Elections Cathy Hamsley about how the county was addressing Robertson County citizens with COVID that wanted to vote.

According to Hamsley, a special area was set up in the parking lot of the Robertson County Election Office in Springfield so citizens with (or exposure to) COVID-19 could vote safely.

One by one they trickled in to cast their ballots and Hamsley greeted each one with a smile even detectable behind her mask. Robertson County EMS medics were on hand to keep the process clean and sanitized between each voter. See our full interview with Hamsley at the top of this article.
