Walker Hardware & Rental GRAND Re-Opening!

IMG_0794Walker Hardware is having a Grand Re-Opening this Saturday (Nov 1st) after proudly serving the Springfield, Tennessee area for over 25 years! They have made many changes and upgrades to their Springfield store.

They have always offered a wide variety of products and services to help you get the job done but now with all the cool mods they feel they are ready to do an even better job with an even wider array of parts, services and tools.

Whether you are looking for plumbing or electrical supplies, hardware, rental equipment, or small engine parts and service, they have it all. If Walker Hardware doesn’t have it, you probably don’t need it.

That’s really true too, while Smokey was there we were shocked to discover all the services they offer. You can rent everything from a chainsaw to a Bobcat, you can buy appliance parts, get your IMG_0725small engine repaired, buy a toilet seat, get a key made and even have glass cut, and all while you enjoy one of their fun old fashioned sodas.

Oh, and don’t forget to check out their new dollar section, it’s filled with all kinds of whatever you might need.

Recently they decided that after many years of service, their Springfield store located on Tom Austin Hwy near Memorial Blvd was in need of an update. If you haven’t been by in a while you are in for a big surprise. The isles are wider and the store is very easy to navigate. See photo gallery below.

Be sure to come by on Saturday and check out the new setup. The Grand Re-Opening will go from 7:00AM to 2:PM. MAP They’ll have FREE hotdogs & popcorn, free hats for the first 25 people through the door and lots of other fun stuff including a chance to win a new handheld blower or a $100.00 Shopping Spree!

IMG_0743Their History

During the late 1980’s the Walker Family saw the need for a wholesale supply house in the growing Robertson County community. Together they started the company officially known as Springfield Electrical and Plumbing Supply in January of 1988.

A few years later they decided to broaden the inventory by adding hardware, so with that thought in mind, in June of 1991, Walker Hardware began supplying the community with the essential tools they needed to make repairs and improvements to their homes, business, and daily lives.

IMG_0747After becoming a staple in the Springfield area and gaining a reputation for good customer service, the Walker family added a small engine department. Not only did they offer small engine parts and services, but they became a certified dealer of the world renowned equipment line, Stihl.

Now finished with expansion, the owner, David Walker, added a selection of rental equipment, launching Walker Rental in April of 2008. Regardless of which name you call us, Walker Hardware is here and ready to serve you and all your plumbing, electrical, hardware, rental equipment, and small engine needs! Go on by, have some free popcorn and check them out!

They now carry the latest Stihl, Echo, and Shindaiwa equipment, supplies, and parts too..
