WANTED: Suspect Identified In 2 Springfield Shootings Sunday
SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Springfield Police are reaching out to the community for help locating a suspect in 2 recent shooting incidents. Sherman Patrick Broxton (aka: Pepsi) is wanted in reference to the shootings that occurred less than an hour apart.
Mr. Broxton is currently wanted for Criminal Attempt to commit First Degree Murder and 2 counts of Reckless Endangerment with a weapon.
The charges stem from an argument outside a residence on 17th ave East at approximately 1pm, yesterday. Where Mr. Broxton pulled a weapon from his vehicle and began shooting at an individual during an argument.
Mr. Broxton fled the scene and a short time later shot into a vehicle, as the vehicle drove down the street. Mr. Broxton should be considered ARMED and DANGEROUS
According to Springfield Police, the rounds did not connect with the targeted individual and no one was injured during the 2 shootings however one round struck a home on 17th Ave and a second round struck a vehicle on Bransford Dr.
