Water Main Break Affects Milldale Residents Near Orlinda
A water main break just outside of Orlinda in Milldale has affected customers near 49 East and Henry Rd. (Exact Location Of Break) Engineers couldn’t give us an exact number of customers that are affected but they indicated that customers on parts of 49 East, Henry Rd and Draper Rd were without water service..
Officials said they were able to re-route some water to reduce the affected area. The current estimate to restore water is some time after 5PM. As you can see, crews have been working in the rain to restore water to customers as soon as possible.
As far as a cause, an engineer at the scene said “The dry conditions we’ve had lately or ground settling, it could be a number of factors.”
