White House Traffic ALERT-> Slow Down For Workers
WHITE HOUSE TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Beginning Monday, March 15, 2021, at 1:00 PM the City of White House Public Services Department and contractors will begin the process of installing the new LaneLight Crosswalk System for the Greenway crossing at HWY 76 near the entrance to the White House Municipal Park (420 HWY 76, White House TN) and (next door) the White House Fire Department Station #1 (416 HWY 76, White House TN). The Public Services Department will also be conducting repair work on the existing system on HWY 31W near White House Animal Hospital (2950 US-31W, White House TN).
Traffic control will be in place for the safety of crews and for motorists traveling these roadways. The roadways will still be open to travel; however, one lane will be blocked at a time to allow crews to conduct and install all the necessary equipment.
The city of White House asks that motorists take caution when approaching these construction areas. It is anticipated that the Public Services Department will be conducting this work from March 15th – March 18th between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM.
