White House Volunteer Fire Dept. to Hold Public Hearing on $1.4M Equipment Lease-Purchase
WHITE HOUSE, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – The White House Community Volunteer Fire Department will be holding a public hearing on September 20th at 7:00 p.m. to discuss a lease-purchase agreement aimed at financing new firefighting equipment. The proposal includes the acquisition of a Ferrara Freightliner 2000 Gallon Tanker and a 2024 Ferrara FC94 Custom Rescue Pumper, with the total financing amount reaching $1.4 million. Community members are encouraged to attend or submit comments.
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the White House Community Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. will meet on September 20, 2024, at the firehouse located at 1916 US-31W, White House, Tennessee 37188, at 7:00 p.m., in a public hearing pursuant to the requirements of Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, on a proposal that the Lessee enter into a Lease-purchase agreement with Republic First National Corp. under the “Code” in order to finance the acquisition of equipment.
The equipment to be financed consists of One (1) Ferrara Freightliner 2000 Gallon Tanker and One (1) 2024 Ferrara FC94 Custom Rescue Pumper and will be located at the firehouse in White House, Tennessee 37188. To finance the costs of such equipment and to pay costs and expenses incidental to the financing, the Lessee proposes to enter into the Lease-purchase agreement with Republic First National Corp. in the maximum aggregate principal amount of $1,400,000.00. The Lessee will be required to pay all expenses of operating, maintaining, and insuring the project and to pay all taxes on the equipment. The rental payments due pursuant to the Lease-purchase agreement will be payable and secured by a security interest lien on the equipment above mentioned.
All persons interested may appear and be heard at said time and place or may file written comments with the department prior to the hearing set forth herein above.
