Would-Be Thieves Target Guns & Leather In Greenbrier
GREENBRIER TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Greenbrier Police are asking for the community’s help identifying four men captured on surveillance video trying to get into Guns & Leather located on Hwy 41 in Greenbrier. MAP
The suspects circled the facility several times and ran back and forth waiting for the timing and nerve to break the front glass and get inside. Though they did break the
front glass they were not successful getting into the business.
The burglary attempt occurred around 2:30 a.m. Saturday morning. After making one last try at the reinforced door the thieves were panicked into a run by a passing vehicle that turned out to be an off duty officer. The officer quickly passed the pursuit off to other units but the suspects had too much of a head start and got away.
Including the getaway driver there would be 5 suspects and as you can see in video surveillance of the crime one of the suspects is clearly taller than the others. Another suspect was wearing distinctive white gloves.
Anyone with any information about this crime is encouraged to call police as soon as possible at 615-314-4911.
