Improvements Coming To Springfield Cinema

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – If you live in Springfield then you know that the Springfield Cinema has come a long way in the last couple of years.

Improvements on the inside and out have made the movie experience at the historic theater much more enjoyable. Though the Cinema is far easier on the eyes these days there are still a few changes coming.

Today the Springfield Cinema announced some changes that we can expect to see this month. Though not officially in the release Smokey Barn News has learned that thorough measurements were taken this week for new carpeting throughout the building.

According to theater officials, starting on January 22 the installation process for a new Freestyle drink machine, self serve ICEE machine along with a brand new updated self serve butter station will begin.

General manager Amber Armstrong told Smokey Barn News that the Freestyle drink machine will have the capacity to serve at least one hundred options of different flavored drinks, Coke, Diet Cherry Coke, Fanta, water, fruit punch Etc.

The popcorn machine will be relocated but its exact location has not been decided. The Freestyle machine will go where the popper is now and the ICEE machine will be positioned to the left.

An ICEE machine offers frozen slushy type drinks. There’s even a rumor that hot-dogs might be coming.
