4 Vie for Vacant Coopertown Alderman Spot (Meet The Candidates)

With a 3/0 vote, Ruby Cash has been selected as the Alderman Ward 2 replacing Lucas Decker.

COOPERTOWN TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Following the resignation Coopertown Alderman Lucas Decker on March 30th, (full story) the city is set to choose his replacement. As a citizen, this will be your last chance to voice your opinion on the candidates.

Smokey Barn News has attached the resumes of all the interested candidates to this article. On Tuesday evening, one of them will be selected and sworn in by Mayor Glen Guyor after a vote by the board. In the event of a tie, it will fall to Mayor Guyor to select a candidate.

“Four citizens are interested in the Alderman Ward 2 position,” said Glen Guyor Mayor.” “We will select and I will swear in the new Alderman at tomorrow’s meeting 4/23/19 that starts at 6 pm at Town of Coopertown City Hall.”

With a vote just hours away, citizens have one last chance to voice their opinions.
