6 Year Old Dies In Accidental Shooting Near Portland
FAIRFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – According to a release from the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office, a 6-year-old boy has died following an accident with a firearm in Fairfield Tennessee.
The incident occurred on Sunday morning, around 9:30 am. Deputies responded to an address on Fairfield Rd for a report that a 6-year-old boy had been shot. Fairfield Rd sets about 15 miles east of Robertson County not far from Portland Tennessee near the Kentucky border. MAP
The child did not survive his injuries and, passed away at a Nashville hospital. The investigation conducted by Deputies and Detectives determined that the shooting was purely accidental.
