One Injured in Pleasant Grove Road Rollover Crash Thursday Evening
CROSS PLAINS, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – A serious rollover crash at the intersection of Pleasant Grove Road and Boyles Road sent a 25-year-old female to the hospital Thursday evening, the first call coming into 911 at 10:30 PM.
According to Cross Plains Fire Chief Tommy Jackson, the woman was trapped inside the vehicle when first responders arrived. Following an extrication, she was freed from the wreckage.
Reports indicated that she was unresponsive at the scene. Initially, the ambulance transported her under non-emergency traffic, but that status was later upgraded to emergency during transit, indicating an elevated concern for her condition. Her current status has not been released.
The vehicle came to rest off the roadway, but drivers should expect traffic in the area to be affected until the scene is fully cleared.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. A cause of the crash was not immediately available.
