PLEASANT VIEW, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center has announced plans to bring a new freestanding emergency room to Pleasant View, Tennessee. The facility, called TriStar Pleasant View ER, will be located in the 6300 block of Highway 41A. MAP

The project represents a $17.8 million investment and is designed to expand access to emergency care for Pleasant View and surrounding communities. The new facility will serve as a satellite location of TriStar NorthCrest’s main emergency department and will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It will accept all major insurance providers, including TennCare.

According to TriStar NorthCrest, the new emergency room will include 11 treatment rooms, one of which will be a trauma room, along with a laboratory, imaging services, and a nurses’ station.

“We are proud to bring high-quality emergency care closer to home for the Pleasant View community,” said Christine Lunger, chief nursing officer at TriStar NorthCrest. “This investment reflects our commitment to expanding access to life-saving services while being a good neighbor. Our team is ready to provide expert care, 24 hours a day, every day of the year.”

The facility will be equipped to handle critical emergencies, including stroke and cardiac arrest, and is intended to offer services beyond what urgent care centers can provide.
