Accidental Shooting at Springfield Dealership Sends Man to Trauma Center
SPRINGFIELD, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – A man was transported to the trauma center at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville after what police say was an accidental shooting at Rieselman Automotive on Memorial Boulevard in Springfield. MAP
According to investigators, the firearm, believed to be a pistol, was discharged while being shown to the victim. The bullet struck the man in the forearm before continuing into his leg. No customers were involved in the incident.
Springfield Police, Springfield Fire, and Robertson County EMS responded to the scene. EMS transported the man to Skyline Medical Center’s Trauma Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
