Bomb Scare Triggered By Note At White House Christian School
WHITE HOUSE TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – A K-12 Christian school in White House was evacuated Monday after a teacher found a note that indicated that a bomb had been planted at the school.
The call went out around 3:30 pm that a teacher found a notebook at the school with the note inside. According to authorities, the note contained “a writing referring to a bomb being planned at the school.” The school, Christian Community School, located on Hester Dr. in White House MAP was quickly evacuated.
Authorities are actively speaking to a juvenile that Detectives have reason to believe owns the notebook, according to officials at the scene.
The White House Police Department, City of White House Fire Dept., a Hendersonville Police K9 unit, the Robertson County Emergency Management Agency, the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office and Robertson County EMS all responded to the scene.
Officials were at the scene for several hours and conducted their final sweep of the school around 6 pm. It was then that the all-clear was given.
According to White House Police Chief Pat Brady, a juvenile student admitted to writing the note but said it was written a couple of months ago and the notebook was left in the classroom accidentally. No criminal charges have been filed.
