Brazen Thief Breaks In Business Steals Truck And Equipment
SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Springfield Police say last night a man entered Sheet Metal Products located at 3233 Tom Austin Hwy MAP by prying a piece of fiberglass away from the east corner of the business.
The owner reported several items missing including a Miller stick welder, Lincoln wire welder, 10in Miter Saw and an orange fiber glass ladder. The suspect loaded all the items up into a pickup truck that was sitting inside the business at the time of the Burglary. He even closed the garage door when he left, police say.
The Pickup truck was a 92 Dodge Ram 2500 with a Cummins Diesel engine. The pickup is described as a Grey 1992 Dodge Ram 2500 with a blue ladder rack with a white 8ft toolbox attached to the passenger side of the bed. The ignition column was busted and the vehicle was seen heading South on Tom Austin Hwy. Approximately 25,000.00 total stolen.
Also overnight, the Church Of Christ located at 2509 Memorial Blvd was broken into but the thieves came up empty handed. MAP
