A wintery holiday fantasy for all ages. Terry Martin, Director of Springfield Parks & recreation says Winter Wonderland is a unique gift to the people from the City of Springfield. The event offers great photo opportunities, costumed characters, lighted scenes, holiday music, petting zoo, and hot chocolate- -all free. You don’t have to break the bank to thoroughly enjoy this event.
Opening night is Friday, December 8 at 5:30 PM. Follow the lighted candy cane trail throughout the park to view fanciful scenes. Bring your camera (or phone with camera) for pictures with Santa. You’re your picture made with Rudolph and the Summer Lovin’ Snowman too. Youngsters can pet and feed Little Critters Petting Zoo animals. Enjoy free hot chocolate (while supplies last). Walk the candy cane trail from the parking area through the Candy Cane Forest all the way to the historic cabin to visit with Santa Claus. To enter a lighted scene or display Call The Center

Until December 31: Lights On Logan – LIGHT SHOW!
They’re back! The 2017 Lights On Logan light show began on November 23. Over 35,295 lights synchronized to 368 channels of computer controlled animation. The show will be running from November 23 thru December 31 from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. Check em out online
The light show runs every 24 minutes
from 5:00 p.m.
until 10:00 p.m.
(11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays)
Tune your car stereo to 103.9 FM when you arrive to hear the show.

From Nashville/Goodlettsville:
Take I-65 north to exit 98 (US-31W/Millersville) and turn left onto US-31W south. Immediately get into the right lane and bear right onto the ramp for US-41 north (Springfield/Ridgetop). Stay on US-41 for 8.7 miles (you will pass through the towns of Ridgetop and Greenbrier). Turn right onto “Lights Chapel Rd.”. Proceed over the railroad track and then turn left onto “Old Hwy.” Immediately turn right onto Logan Rd. We are just a half mile down Logan Road on the left.
From White House:
Take SR-76 west toward Springfield. Immediately after crossing “Sulfur Fork Creek” turn left onto Possum Trot Rd. At the top of the hill turn right onto Worsham Springs Rd. Take the first left onto Logan Rd. We are 1.2 miles down Logan on the right.
From Springfield:
Take US-41 south to the Greenbrier city limits and immediately turn left onto “Lights Chapel Rd.”. Proceed over the railroad track and then turn left onto “Old Hwy.” Immediately turn right onto Logan Rd. We are just a half mile down Logan on the left.
