Crews Battle Industrial Fire At Tate Ornamental In White House
WHITE HOUSE TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – White House Firefighters responded to a structure fire at Tate Ornamental on N. Sage Rd Thursday evening. Tate is located directly across from Crossroads Medical Pavilion (Map).
Tate Ornamental is a family owned and operated company that has been in business since 1988. They specialize in creating stairs, canopies and handrails using ferrous and non-ferrous materials such as brass, bronze, aluminum, stainless steel, nickel, and wood. They also specialize in millwork.
Fire crews were on the scene for several hours battling the blaze. The fire was contained to one building at the Tate Manufacturing facility. The building is roughly 100 feet long and the roof has now collapsed.
Residents in the area will likely smell smoke throughout the evening and tomorrow as a result of the fire.
There’s no word on a cause yet, as soon as fire investigators have a chance to examine the building we will bring you their findings.
White House Fire, White House Police, Robertson County Sheriff’s Office and Robertson County EMS and EMA all responded to the scene.
