Cross County Agencies Battle Home Fire In Greenbrier

GREENBRIER TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Firefighters from several agencies across the county  battled a home fire in the 2700 block (Map) of Old Greenbrier Pike in Greenbrier. The call came into 911 at 9:12pm Monday evening.

There were five adults living in the home and they all mad it out safely including a the family dog, a Labrador Beagle mix.

The family was renting the home and did have renters insurance but they were guessing that the insurance probably would not cover all that they lost. One of the residents is disabled requiring a lift chair, hospital bed and other medical equipment.

If you would like to help the family with any kind of donation or assistance you may indicate so in comments and as soon as a location is set where donations can be dropped off, we will bring it to you.

According to Fire Chef Kyle Hamill with the Greenbrier Fire Department, the fire is under investigation.

Ridgetop Fire, Greenbrier Fire and White House Community Volunteer Fire, Robertson County EMA, EMS and the Greenbrier Police department have responded to the scene.
