Greenbrier Man Faces 10 counts Child Rape
And 30 Counts Of Sexual Exploitation Of A Child
SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Following a lengthy investigation that began in July of 2014, the Greenbrier Police Department arrested Thomas Fraser, 37, of Greenbrier for the alleged repeated sexual abuse of a child. Fraser was arrested in Goodlettsville today by Greenbrier Detective Chris Jones with the assistance of Goodlettsville Police at the Goodlettsville Police station.
A multi-count indictment returned by the Robertson County Grand Jury accuses Fraser of 10 counts of rape of a child, and 30 counts of sexual exploitation of a child. Fraser, who is separated would meet his wife every other weekend at the police station for visitation drop-off of his two sons and that is where the arrest took place. No children were present during the arrest, police said.
According to Greenbrier Police, Fraser had access to the child, a minor female, for about two years and during that time he allegedly took photos of her. Computers and a cell phone taken from Fraser’s home were sent to the TBI Crime lab and photographic evidence was discovered, according to Detective Jones. The victim was thirteen when the abuse began and the abuse continued until she was about fifteen, Jones added.
Jones said the young lady was very brave and assisted police during the investigation. Jones also told Smokey Barn News that there was no DNA evidence in the case against Fraser which will sit largely on digital evidence and testimony. During the last year Fraser was not living in the home with the child due to a separation between him and the girls mother.
Fraser was being held in the Robertson County Jail under a $30,000 bond, he was released just after midnight Saturday. Fraser is accused of raping and sexually abusing a juvenile female over an extended period of time. The trial date is set for some time in March.
Greenbrier Chief of Police K.D. Smith stated that “These types of cases are difficult and take an emotional toll on everyone involved. We sincerely hope that the arrest of this predator provides some closure for the victim, and with counseling and the support of her family she can live a happy life”

I have lived in this county for a year and a half now, and I have yet to see justice done in any situation. Come on, authorities…please prove me wrong. Show us that this little girl won’t have to live the rest of her adolescence in fear because you let this piece of excrement off the hook.
