Mac’s career was defined by his commitment to keeping others safe. He worked in security around the Nashville area, instilling a sense of protection wherever he went. During his time in the military, Mac exemplified valor and resilience. He bravely served three tours in Vietnam and even endured the hardships of being a Prisoner of War. For his unwavering bravery and sacrifices, Mac was honored with two Purple Heart Awards and the prestigious Congressional Medal of Honor.
Despite the challenges he faced, Mac maintained a private and reserved personality. Those who knew him understood that behind his quiet demeanor was a man of great strength and integrity. In his leisure time, Mac enjoyed indulging in his hobbies such as being an avid gun and knife enthusiast. He found solace in watching old country westerns and Star Wars movies, immersing himself in tales of heroism and adventure.
Mac will be laid to rest with military graveside honors in Nashville National Cemetery. The date and time has not be set yet. Once they’ve been determined, we will update this obituary with that information.
