Obituary for Rosa Mai Lunsford
Rosa “Rosie” Mai Lunsford was born September 9, 1947 in Robertson County Tennessee to the late Marion “Boy” Lunsford, Sr., and Catherine Woodard Lunsford. She departed this Earthly Home on December 17, 2019.
She professed a hope in Christ at an early age and was a member of Bridge Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She attended from time to time according to her health.
She was educated in the Robertson County Schools and was a 1966 graduate of Bransford High School. She was an employee of Northcrest Medical Center.
“Rosie” as she was affectionately called was always willing to do what she could for anybody.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother and son.
She leaves to cherish her memories: friend, Leslie Jackson; brothers Danny (Jean) Lunsford; Marion “Bitty” (Helen) Lunsford, Jr.; sister, Virginia Douglas all of Springfield, TN; uncle, Odell (Annie) Lunsford; devoted nieces, Brenda, Tamala, D’Ashia; nieces, Camelia Smith, and Trease Colson; nephews, Darrell, Juan, Mario, Travis, James Lunsford, Jr., Christopher Lunsford; several great nieces and nephews, a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service was Monday, December 23, 2019 at Bridge Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Black, Officiant and Pastor Harvey Butler, Eulogy. Interment was in Bridge Hill Church Cemetery, Springfield, TN

Kenneth Lee Brady, age 57, of Joelton, Tennessee, died Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at his residence.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 11:30AM at the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View with Bro. Don Dungan officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10AM until the hour of service at 11:30AM.
Kenneth was born on April 9, 1962 in Nashville, Tennessee to Auda (Martha) Brady and the late Dora Hale Myatt. He recently worked as an equipment operator.
In addition to his mother, he his preceded in death by a niece, Stephanie Dawn Reeves; and great nephew, Dylan Wayne Medley.
In addition to his father, he is survived by sisters, Pat Raymond, Darlene (Archie) Duke, Janice (Gary) Cook, Cindy (Timmy) Busby, Vicky Jordan; nieces, Jennifer (Ryan) Davis, Chelsea Busby; nephew, Austin Hunter; and great nieces, Taylor Medley, Hannah Reeves, and Mallory Davis.

Age 83 of Goodlettsville went home to be with the Lord Thursday, December 12, 2019 at the Residence of Alive Hospice. She was born July 23, 1936. She worked as a private housekeeper before her retirement.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dale Lewis Lawson; daughter, Gwen Taylor; son, Robert Lawson; 3 sisters, Geraldine, Viva and Vival; 2 brothers, L.D. and Lonnie. She is survived by her sons, Ronnie Lawson, Covena, CA and Randy (Claudette) Lawson, Springfield, CO; daughter, Valeeta Bobbitt, Goodlettsville, TN; 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.
Funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 12 noon at New Life Fellowship in Cross Plains, TN with Bro. Rob Massie and Bro. Steve Farmer officiating. Phyllis Ann Ervin, age 61 of Pleasant View passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at her residence.
The family will receive friends 3pm to 7pm on Friday, December 20, 2019 and again 11am to 1pm on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Austin & Bell Funeral Home Pleasant View. A memorial service will follow at 1pm at the funeral home with Rev. Randy Harman officiating.
Phyllis was born in Nashville, TN on December 11, 1958 to the late Charles G. and Betty Margaret Merritt Green. She was also preceded in death by step-mother, Mary Lou Green.
She was a Baker at Dunkin Donuts in Pleasant View, TN. She enjoyed animals, especially her dog. She loved flea markets, thrift stores, flower gardening and going to the mountains.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph “Mike” Ervin; daughter, Dawn Ervin; granddaughter, Destiny Colgate; brothers, Phillip (Becky) Green, Jerry (Carol) Green and sister, Judy (Dan) May.

Stephanie Marie (Anderson) Fykes, age 47 of Gallatin, TN, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2019.
Stephanie was a loving mother, daughter, grandmother, wife, and sister. She was a very compassionate person with a strong love for family. Although she was fighting illness for a long time, she remained a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Armando and Anna Bisceglia, Ruby Evelyn Burgess and Charlie Green Anderson.
She is survived by father, Wayne Anderson; mother and step-father, Josie and Richard Land; brother, Charlie Wayne Anderson; spouse of 26 years, Johnny Alan Fykes; sons, Cody Conner, Brette Fykes; grandchildren, Adalynn Marie Fykes, Mary Grayson Lea Conner, and Saylor Noelle Conner.
Her family will receive friends on Saturday, December 21, 2019 from 12 noon until the Celebration of Life Memorial Mass at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Hendersonville. Interment service will take place on Monday, December 23 at 11 a.m. at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.

Larry J. Schneider, age 73 of Springfield, died Sunday December 15, 2019 at North Crest Medical Center.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, December 19th at 10:00 a.m. at the Springfield First United Methodist Church with Reverend Jerry Wallace and Reverend Dr. Jason Wilkerson officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery with Jason Newberry, Joey Newberry, Bill Hargraves, Clyde Richert, Bob Ary, Paul Henon, Butch Jones, and Shane Shoemaker serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are The Believers Sunday School Class and the Praise Team of Springfield First United Methodist Church, David Bellar, and Wayne Stevens. The family will receive friends at Springfield First United Methodist Church on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
Mr. Schneider was born on October 29, 1946 in Gaylord, Minnesota to the late Victor and Elizabeth Schneider. He served his country with honor, courage and commitment as a member of the U.S. Navy from 1966 until 1970 on the USS Bon Homme Richard CVA-31 in Vietnam. He was proud to be a “Navy man.”
His industriousness, earnestness and diligence then led him to Springfield, Tennessee where he was the owner of S&S Precision for nearly three decades. It was there that he met and married the love of his life, Ann Newberry Schneider. Larry was a member of Springfield First United Methodist Church, and an unwavering weekly member of the Praise Team band. He leaves behind a tremendous legacy of enjoyment and love of life through travel, golf, music, cars, and delicious food. His friends and family greatly enjoyed his vast knowledge of these topics and knew that every conversation with him would inevitably contain two key components: knowledge of something new they did not know before and true, laugh out loud inducing hilarity and humor. His friends and family take great comfort in the knowledge that they will always carry these “Larry stories” in their hearts and throughout their lives.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents, brother Greg Schneider, and sister-in-law, Gertrude Deal. He is survived by his loving wife of twenty-seven years, Ann Newberry Schneider and sweet Cocoa, their much-loved Pomeranian and constant companion. In addition, he is survived by his sisters Cindy Gran and Debbie Smith, brothers-in law and sister-in-law: Horace and Vickie Newberry, Terry Deal, and nephews Jason Newberry and his wife Julie, Joey Newberry and his wife Emily, and Thomas Deal and his wife Jodi.
The family would like to express their thanks and gratitude to Dr. Sabi Kumar for his compassionate treatment, care, and concern for Larry and the family during his valiant, unwavering battle with esophageal cancer.

Obituary for Paul W. Kendrick
Paul Wilson Kendrick was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on December 15, 1946 to the late Irving W. Kendrick and the late Elnora Sebree Kendrick. He was called Home on December 13, 2019.
He was educated in the Robertson County Schools and graduated with the Bransford High School Class of 1966. Paul was a member of St. James Missionary Baptist Church where he served on the Usher Board. He was a former member of King David Lodge 187.
He worked for many years and retired from Tappen Company.
He was united in Holy Matrimony to Deno Pope Kendrick, who preceded him in death. “Kendog” and “Freedom” as he was affectionately called, loved cooking barbeque and having friends over to eat with him. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend.
In addition to his parents and wife, He was preceded in death by one sister, Stella R. Kendrick Dowlen; three brothers, Simon I. Kendrick, James B. Kendrick and David W. Kendrick; brother-in-law, James Pope and four grandchildren.
Paul leaves to cherish his memories: his sweet daughter, Teresa Gardner (Michael Hardman); three step-children, Tesha Sugg, J. Sugg; and Molly Pope; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jeffery (Syvetrice) Kendrick of Clarksville, TN; and Larry D. Kendrick of Louisville, KY; four sisters, Bettie (James) Gardner of Clarksville, TN, Fannie (Horace) Green of Nashville, TN; Robbie (Eugene) Gardner of Springfield, TN and Eleanor (James) McKissick of Springfield, TN; sisters-in-law, Candy Pope, Robin Pope, Ivey Pope and Levi (Vacie) Pope; several aunts and uncles, a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends: Ricky Townsend, Emma Jamison, Allan Payne, Bobbye Braine, Joe Cabin and Joe Northington.
Funeral Service was held Saturday, December 21, 2019 at St. James Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Washington, Officiant and Pastor Billy Townsend, Eulogist. Interment was held in Restlawn Memorial Garden.

Mr. Blackburn was born on March 18, 1947 to the late Elouis Hassell and Mary Elizabeth Burns Blackburn. Mr. Blackburn was an operator for Hinkle Chair Company. Louis enjoyed watching TV, drinking coffee, hunting and fishing.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his bothers; Terry Wayne Blackburn, David Blackburn, Steven Blackburn, his sister; Shirley Ann Kurbis, and his great grandson; Jayden Hucklebee.
Mr. Blackburn is survived by; his wife, Wanda M. John Lee Bagwell, Jr., 88, of Springfield, passed away on Sunday December 15, 2019 at North Crest Medical Center.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday December 18th at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Reverend Steve Pendley and Reverend Clay Burchett officiating. Interment will follow in Bellwood Cemetery with Michael Charvis, Tyler Bagwell, Austin Bagwell, John Lee Bagwell, IV, Jay Jarvis, and Blake Stratton serving as pallbearers. Mr. Bagwell was born April 13, 1931 in Cedar Hill to the late John Lee and Lillian Evans Bagwell, Sr. He was a graduate of Jo Byrns High School Class of 1949. Mr. Bagwell served as a Warrant Officer in the U.S. Army, and he was retired as a Civil Service Communication Operations Specialist. He was a member of Center Point Baptist Church, where he was a former deacon, and was a member of the Cedar Hill Men’s Club. Mr. Bagwell enjoyed fishing and golfing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife: Dolores Dempsey Bagwell, by his daughters: Sherree Gail Austin and Lynette Oaks, and by his granddaughter: Cindy Charvis. Mr. Bagwell is survived by his wife: Faye Ellis Bagwell of Springfield, by his sons and daughters-in-law: John Lee and Justina Bagwell, III of Cedar Hill, James and Patti Bagwell of Greensboro, NC, by his sister and brother-in-law: Margaret and Charles Herndon of Greenbrier, by his grandchildren: Tara (Tim) Bissel, Kristina (Jay) Jarvis, Rachel (Dennis) Garrison, Amanda (Blake) Stratton, Michael (Melissa) Charvis, John Lee (Halie) Bagwell, IV, Tyler and Austin Bagwell, and by 11 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. White enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, gardening and working in her flowers. The love of her life was traveling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Billy Joe White, and by her sons: Bobby F. White and Billy Joe White, Jr.

Age 93 of Greenbrier passed away Sunday, December 15, 2019 at her home. She was born February 22, 1926 in Attica, IN to Virgil and Bessie Spears Garrett. She worked as a homemaker, loved cooking and spending time with her family and friends.

Donald “Fred” Smith, age 76, of Cedar Hill, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2019 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 2pm in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Brother Marvin Crouch and Brother Kenneth Wayne Head officiating. Mr. Smith was born September 20, 1943 in Overton, California to the late Manus and Jessie Oakley Smith. He worked as a mixer at Delight Products and was a member of the Coopertown Church of Christ and was in the National Guard. In his free time, Fred loved fishing, hunting, gardening, boating and camping.
In addition to his parents Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Ruth Wilson Smith. He is survived by his daughter, Lee Ann of Springfield; brother, George Richard (Kathy) of Catillian Springs; cousins, Maxine Hester, Billy Mac Smith, Delta Ferrell and Ruby O’Kelly; and Several nieces and nephews, Michael Wilson, Mark Wilson, Kristie Vertrees, Jason Smith, Don Smith and Suzy Daggs.

Mr. Allen was born in Russellville, KY on March 20, 1963 to the late Charles Wayne Allen and Jean D. Dorris. He was a laborer for an automotive parts manufacturer and was a member of the Cedar Hill Church of Christ.

Alice Hyde Bedwell, age 94 of Springfield, died Thursday, December 12, 2019 at The Residence at Alive Hospice in Nashville.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, December 16, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Rushing officiating. Burial followed in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Don Bedwell, Jr., Corey Bedwell, and members of Hillcrest Church of Christ serving as pallbearers. The family received friends at the funeral home Sunday from 1 until 5 PM and Monday from 10 AM until the hour of service.
Mrs. Bedwell was born September 21, 1925 in Robertson County to the late James Richard and Bessie Marshall Hyde. She was a member of Hillcrest Church of Christ and was retired from South Central Bell. She was a past president of Jesse Holman Jones Auxiliary, was a member of the Business and Professional Women’s Club, and was a past president of South Central Bell Telephone Pioneers of America. After her retirement in 1978 she was a volunteer for the Senior Citizens Center and C.O.P.E. and the Big Brothers of Nashville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death b y her husband, Buford “Buck” Bedwell, and her sister, Margaret Hyde Witty.
She is survived by her sons, Don Owen Bedwell, Sr. of La Vergne, Joe Freeman Bedwell of Columbia, and James Jeffrey Bedwell of White House; grandchildren, Don Bedwell, Jr., Corey Bedwell, and 6 other grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

Alva William “Pete” Boswell, age 82 of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at home with his family.
Pete was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was an avid fly fisherman and hunter. He was heavily involved in coaching men’s and women’s softball. He was a past president of: the Hendersonville and Gallatin Shrine Clubs and the Gallatin Gun Club. He was a long time member of the Hendersonville Masonic Lodge #359 F+AM and Al Menah Shrine.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Helen Boswell; brother, Jimmy Boswell; and sister, Ann Croucher.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Carol Boswell; son, Peter John (Sally) Boswell; daughter, Beth Carol Boswell; sister, Sarah (John) Matlock; grandchildren, Lauren McKenzie Boswell, Andrew Neyland Boswell, Hunter Summitt Boswell; and several nieces and nephews.

David was born in Nashville, TN of October 3, 1954 to Revis Odell Wiley and the late Peggy Ann Webb Greer. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Gary and Jeffrey Wiley.
David was retired as an officer with the Ridgetop Police Department. He loved taking care of the safety and wellbeing of those in the community. The children of Watauga School loved him as much as he loved them. He loved his children and grandchildren and was a member of Highland Chapel Union Church.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Dixon Wiley of Ridgetop; son, David “Keith” Wiley, Jr; daughter, Kaitlyn Wiley of Nashville; father, Revis Odell Wiley of LaVergne; sister-in-law, Vickie Wiley of Pulaski, TN; grandchildren, Cayden Inman-Wiley, Matthew Inman-Wiley, Emma Inman-Wiley and Emily Inman.

William “Kevin” Compton, age 50 of Greenbrier, TN passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at his residence.
The family received friends 11am to 2pm on Saturday, December 14th at Highland Chapel Union Church in Ridgetop, TN. The Memorial Service followed at 2pm at Highland Chapel Union Church with Bro. Jon Briggs officiating.
Kevin was born August 18, 1969 in Columbus, OH to the late Keith Compton and Millie Daugherty Fields.
He loved KY Wildcat Basketball, working in The Village Antique & Gift Shop in Nolensville. He was a member of Highland Chapel Union Church where he and his fiancé, Holli Oglesby served as Youth Directors. He also loved leading mission trips to Phelps, KY. The family would like to make special mention of his late grandmother, Ivory Daugherty for always keeping Kevin’s name in her ongoing Prayer Box.
He is survived by fiancé, Holli Oglesby of Brentwood; mother, Millie (Kellis) Fields of Murfreesboro; brother, Allen Compton of Smyrna; sister, Angie Compton of White House and nephews Jon Gray and Jordan Gray.

Mr. Ruley was born December 10, 1954 in Detroit, MI to the late Benjamin Lacey and Ethel Earline Parks Ruley, SR. He worked as a plumber, loved fishing, oldies music, having fun and playing with his grandchildren.

Alice Faye Sullivan, age 81, of Pleasant View, Tennessee, died Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Vantage Pointe Village in Ashland City.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, December 13th at 12:00PM at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View with Bro. Randy Harmon officiating. Burial followed in the Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Greenbrier with Rion Edwards, Ragan Edwards, Tom Rawls, Tim Rawls, Jeff Hopmayer, and Keith Newell serving as pallbearers.
The family received friends at the funeral home on Friday from 9:30AM until the hour of service at 12:00PM.
Faye was born at home in Greenbrier, Tennessee on October 18, 1938 to the late Orin Andrew and Christine Baggett Hall. She graduated from Greenbrier High School. She spent her career as a Legal Secretary and Office Manager for prominent Nashville attorney, Cecil Branstetter. For decades in Pleasant View she was known as “the local Notary” and served as the Secretary for the Pleasant View Utility District Board for 34 years.
Faye was a Christian woman. She grew up in the Rock Springs Baptist Church, was a former member of Good Springs Free Will Baptist Church, and later in life became a member of the Pleasant View First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of sixty years, Robert Sullivan, who lovingly cared for his wife throughout her entire battle with Alzheimer’s Disease; her two daughters, Angela Jenkins(fiancé, Keith Newell, and Denise (Jeff ) Cummins Hopmayer; grandson, Blake (Lacey) Jenkins; great-grandson, Gabriel Jenkins; and her devoted & loving sisters, Elizabeth Rawls, Betty Jean Douglas, and Shirley Franks.

Jennifer Maggie Stiles Scott, born October 5, 1974 in Madison, TN. Died November 25, 2019 in Columbia, SC.
She is survived by her loving husband, Derek Sean Scott of Columbia, SC; parents, Errol Allen and Karen Cushenberry Stiles of Greenbrier; brother, Jeremy Allen Stiles of Ridgetop; parents-in-law, Bill and Joy Bailey of Beaver, WV; brother-in-law, Todd Scott of Mount Hope, WV; uncles and aunts, Harold and Joy Cushenberry of Joelton, TN; Johnny and Ruth Cushenberry of Old Hickory, TN; and Butch and Janice Cushenberry of Gallatin, TN.
Jennifer was valedictorian of her graduating class at Greenbrier High School, graduated Cum Laude from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Business Administration and also earned a Masters Degree in International Business from UK. Having worked in the University of Kentucky Department of Athletics throughout her time as a student, she was hired into a full-time position upon completing her degree. Jennifer spent seven years in Lexington before being hired at Ohio University as Director of Compliance, ultimately serving eight years at OU and reaching the level of Associate Director of Athletics. She was then hired as Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance Services at the University of South Carolina, achieving her career goal of overseeing compliance operations at a Southeastern Conference school.
Mrs. Scott was married for 17 years, deeply cherished her family and was a loyal friend to many. Her commitment to helping others was spread from the student-athletes she served to random people who crossed paths with her, and her directness and commitment to honesty were significant. In short, she did not hide where she stood.
Jennifer will be greatly missed by her family and the many friends she has, which are spread around the country.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her honor to Harvest Hope Food Bank, which she loyally supported throughout her 13 years in Columbia.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Vanessa was born September 26, 1956 in Bowling Green, KY to the late Wade Franklin and Jeanette Alford Lee. She worked in the foodservice industry, having been a manager with Krystal and then worked at the former Ponderosa in Springfield. Vanessa loved lighthouses and animals, especially Oscar, her Great Pyrenees.
Vanessa is survived by her brother: Russell Lee of Hendersonville, her lifelong best and dearest friend: Darlene Darrow of Springfield, her close friend: Leigh Anne (Sunshine) Channey of Springfield, and by five nieces and nephews, one great niece, two uncles and three aunts.

Mrs. King was born February 1, 1931 in Springfield to the late Chester and Martha Anderson Mason. She was a homemaker and a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. Mrs. King enjoyed working in her yard and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph D. King, siblings: Rachel Turney, Don Mason, and C.C. Mason, Jr.

Paul Ardine Bailey, 78, of Stewart, passed away on Thursday December 5, 2019 at St. Thomas West Hospital.

The family received friends on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Mr. Bailey was born July 19, 1941 in Grand Rapids, MI to the late Paul Leslie and Sadie Lee Furlough Bailey. He was retired from the graphics department of NEC and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Bailey enjoyed fishing, playing his guitar, operating his backhoe, and was an avid UT Vols fan. The main two loves of his life was spending time with his family and cooking and eating bar-b-q and chicken.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters: Billie Jean Barnes and Betty June King. Mr. Bailey is survived by his wife of 58 years: Christine Scott Bailey of Stewart, by his sons and daughters-in-law: Leslie Paul and Lisa Bailey of Kingston Springs, William Christopher and Donna Bailey of Chapmansboro, Scott and Judy Bailey of Pleasant View, by six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Mrs. Kelley was born January 30, 1924 in Springfield to the late Ray and Mary Herndon Carlisle. She worked as a bookkeeper and was a member of the Springfield Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Kelley is preceded in death by her husband, Charles James Kelley. Patricia Lucille Mallory Selph, age 80, of Springfield, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2019 at The Residence at Alive Hospice in Nashville.

Mrs. Selph was born March 13, 1939 in Springfield to the late Johnny and Bessie Morris Mallory. She was a homemaker and she loved to sew.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Selph is preceded in death by her husband, Vernie Lee Selph and her two infant brothers, Richard and Oscar Mallory.
Mrs. Selph is survived by her dear friend, Cheryl Kempf and several other close acquaintances.

Obituary for Palmira Vivian Denora
Age 101 of Cross Plains went home to be with the Lord Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Skyline Medical Center. She was born May 6, 1918 in Queens, NY to Guissepe Pascocello & Catherine Bergonzi. She worked as a PT boat builder during WWII in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. She loved telling that she was 11 years old when Wyatt Earp died. She was also proud of the fact that while working in the Navy Yard she met John F. Kennedy. She loved going to Roberts Western World on lower Broadway and attending the midnight jamborees. She loved roller coasters, riding her first one at Disney World and was an avid Chuck Norris and Zombie movie lover. She attended Berean Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph & Catherine Pascocello; husband, Joseph Benjamin Denora; daughter, Dawn Denora; 3 brothers, Dave, Joe & Mike; 2 sisters, Rita & Margaret. She is survived by her son, Joseph (Kathleen) Denora, Cross Plains, TN; 3 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; her cat, Jazzy.

Age 93 of Goodlettsville passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Skyline Medical Center. He was born December 7, 1925 in Nashville, TN to Robert Dale & Ethel Newton Billings. He worked as a carpenter in his early years and then as an auctioneer and liquidator. He proudly served his country in the US Marines and attended Madison Church of Christ. He was the founder of the Jr Pro Football League in the early 60’s. He enjoyed barefoot water skiing, deep sea fishing and the ocean, college football, gambling, especially shooting craps and was an avid TSU football fan. Mr. Billings enjoyed life to the fullest and was a “fun” person.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Clyde; sister, Martha; daughter-in-laws, Jean and Betty Billings. He is survived by his wife, Dale Graham Billings, Goodlettsville, TN; sons, Darrell Billings, Smyrna, GA, Gary Billings, Seattle, WA, Keith (Kimberly) Billings, College Grove, TN and Buck (Catia) Billings, Greenwood, SC; daughter, Tina (Lary) Davis, Cross Plains, TN; 5 grandchildren, Justin, Marcella, Savannah, Brittany and Jasper; 2 great-grandchildren, Karson and Emma.

Age 72 of White House passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Skyline Medical Center. Mr. Casto was born July 16, 1947 in Nashville, TN to Ira Kenneth & Edna Celia Tillman Casto. He retired from the Metro Nashville Fire Department after 29 years of service. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, was a member of the McWirtersville Masonic Lodge #375 and was a member of the Nashville Firefighter and Fire Service Employee Association Local #140. He is preceded in death by his parents.
