Obituary for Henry R. Hall
Henry R. Hall, age 73 of Cedar Hill, died November 5, 2016 at NorthCrest Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Dr. Donnie Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery with Cody Lemmons, Dallas Lemmons, Chris White, Mack White, Larry Searcy, Michael Nixon, Delvin Hester, and Frankie Wells serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 4 until 8 PM and Tuesday from 11 AM until the hour of service.
Mr. Hall was born September 13, 1943 in Montgomery County to the late Albert Calvin and Martha Sanders Hall, Sr. He was retired from the Robertson County Highway Department and also had farmed and worked at Tappan. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Jackson Hall; a son, Henry Hall, Jr.; and his brother, Albert Calvin Hall II.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Samantha Hall of Cedar Hill; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Jeremy Miller of Cedar Hill; grandchildren, Dakota Hall, Lydia Hall, Dustin Hall, Cody Lemmons and wife, Destanee, Dallas Lemmons, and Katlin Lemmons; and great grandchildren, Jody, Chloe, and Kilee Lemmons.
Obituary for James Warren Murphy
James Warren Murphy, age 82 of Springfield, died Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at NorthCrest Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, November 7, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Patton, Rev. Quinton H. Yates, Sr., and Rev. Pat Pickett officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Vishesh Chachra, Michael Marvin, Grant Bell, Reynolds Boyd, Billy Vogle, and Joe Drake serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be John Ewing Drake, Coop Gupton, Ralph Hollingsworth, Glenn Hollingsworth, Leo Smiley, Harmon Jones, Joe Hart, Bruce Duffer, Randy Murphey, Roy Morales, Jack Jones, Willie Dowlen, Glenn Smith, T.J. Murphey, James T. Marshall, Mack E. Baggett, Jr., and Edward Garrett. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 1 until 6 PM and Monday from 10 AM until the hour of service.
Mr. Murphy was born September 22, 1934 in Robertson County to the late James Clarence and Eva Adams Murphey. He was a member of Mt. Denson Cumberland Presbyterian Church, was a farmer, and was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Katherine Sherrod.
He is survived by his wife of 60- years, Ivy Nell Murphy of Springfield; son, James R. Murphy of Springfield; daughter, Laurie N. Murphy of Springfield; granddaughters, Marissa Lynn Chachra and husband, Vishesh and Jamie Leigh Marvin and husband, Michael; and great grandsons, James Chandler Marvin and Carter Paul Marvin.
The family request, if so desired, for memorial contributions to be made to the Mt. Denson Cumberland Presbyterian Church or the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund. All donations can be sent c/o Robertson County Funeral Home.
Obituary for Sue Bell Price
Sue Bell Price, 90, of Springfield, died Tuesday November 1, 2016 at The Waters of Robertson. Graveside services were conducted Saturday November 5th at 2:00 p.m. in the Springfield Memorial Gardens with Bro. Martin Babb officiating. The family received friends on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Robertson County Funeral Home. There was no visitation on Saturday prior to the graveside service.
Mrs. Price was born November 14, 1925 in Robertson County to the late James H. and Hazel Dean Mason. She was a homemaker, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a member of Springfield Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years. Mrs. Price was a wonderful cook and an excellent seamstress. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Edward Morton Price, her daughter: Susan Price Hudlow, her brother, James Mason, and by her granddaughter: Melissa Yates.
Mrs. Price is survived by her daughters and son-in-law: Connie Yates of Springfield, Peggy and Steve Threet of Crossville, sister: Anne Noland of Dickson, grandchildren: Mason Hudlow, Michael Threet, Meredith Haubrich, and Kristi Kingsbury, great grandchildren: Connor, Brooklyne, Brett, Jonathan, Kayden, and Kenna, great great grandchild: Mariah.

Obituary for Kiyoe Garrison
Kiyoe Garrison, age 83, of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at NorthCrest Medical Center. Funeral services were held Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 11am in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Brother Ronnie Smith officiating. Burial followed in the Springfield Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation was held at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 4-8pm and again on Thursday from 9am until the hour of service at 11am.
Mrs. Garrison was born in Japan on March 15, 1933. She was a homemaker, a kind and loving mother, and a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother.
Mrs. Garrison is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Garrison, Sr. She is survived by her sons, Henry (Laynette) Garrison and James (Mary) Garrison, both of Springfield; grandchildren, Melissa (Jesus) Hernandez, Amber Garrison, James (Ashden) Garrison, Diane Conatser, Rebekah (Titus) Naïve, Joshua Winskie and Crystal (Michael) Dyer; and 9 great-grandchildren.

Obituary for Mildred C Evitts
Mildred C. Evitts, age 69, of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at her home. A memorial service will be held Sunday, November 6, at 3:00pm in the chapel with Brother Eugene Pitts officiating. The family will receive friends from 1pm till the hour of service at 3.
Mrs. Evitts was born March 3, 1947 in Logan County, KY to the late Thomas and Nannie Mae Hutchison Carter. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Rippy and brother, Thomas Carter. Mrs. Evitts is survived by her husband, Ray V. Evitts; sons, Roy Evitts of Springfield, Donald (Donna) Evitts of Springfield and David (Tina) Evitts of Nashville; daughters, Teresa (Cecil) Brown of Springfield and Brenda (John) Fugate of Adams; sister, Dorothy (Joe) Martin of Springfield; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Obituary for Ruby Perry
Ruby Strother Perry, age 80, of Pleasant View, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016 at her home. No services are planned at this time.
Mrs. Perry was born July 2, 1936 in Seneca, SC to the late Dewitt Maxey and Julia Ellis Maxey Bruce. She worked as a music publisher for Red Sundown Records.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Perry is preceded in death by her husband, Leon Perry; her son, Joseph Wilson; and her brothers, Clint Maxey and Pat Patterson.
Mrs. Perry is survived by her sons, Victory (Kelly) Miller of Gallatin and James (Paula) Cole, Jr. of Chapmansboro; daughter, Cynthia (Kenny) Krantz of Pleasant View; brothers, Allan Maxey and Jimmy Maxey, both of North Carolina; 5 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Obituary for Glynn Lambert
Glynn Earl Lambert, age 81, of Cedar Hill, Tennessee, died Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Skyline Medical Center. Funeral services were conducted at 10 o’clock am on Friday, November 4th, in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View with Father Frank Ruff officiating. Burial followed at 1:00PM in the Kentucky Veteran’s Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, Kentucky with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family received friends from 4:00-8:00PM on Thursday, November 3rd at the funeral home and again on Friday from 9:00AM till the hour of service.
Mr. Lambert was born March 25, 1935 in Quitman, Mississippi to the late Laurence Lloyd “L.L.” and Flara Lambert. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was retired from Oscar Mayer.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Ina Lambert; daughter, Lori Ann Willis; son, Kenny Lambert; brother, Jimmy Lambert; and sister, Grace Hood.
He is survived by his son, Richard (Pat) Lambert of Pass Christian, Mississippi; daughter, Therese (Bill) Blum of Cedar Hill; sisters, Evonne Barnes of Mobile, Alabama, Mary (James) Tucker of Quitman, Mississippi; 9 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. All donations may be sent in care of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View.
