Traute Marta “Trudy” Ausley, 84, of Springfield, passed from this life on Saturday July 22, 2023, at Oak Pointe Assisted Living in Adams. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday July 26th at 11:00 a.m. in the Bellwood Cemetery in Adams with Brother Ronnie Green officiating. Pallbearers will be Warren Hamaker, Kenneth Hamaker, Shane Spann, Brandon Coggins, Ricky Hamaker, Shane Coggins, Colton Hamaker, and Eli Hamaker. There will be no visitation prior to the graveside service.
Ms. Trudy was born April 28, 1939, in Hamburg, Germany, to the late Anton and Margarethe Pauline Marie Appelt Bauer. She was a homemaker and was of the Catholic faith. Ms. Trudy enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, mowing, and crocheting. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: John Merritt Ausley.
Ms. Trudy is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Warren and Lori Hamaker of Springfield, Kenneth and Sheri Hamaker of Lacey, WA, by her grandchildren: Colton Hamaker, Eli Hamaker, Ricky Hamaker, Brandon Coggins, Shane Coggins, Trevor Hamaker, and Marissa Hamaker, and by her great grandchild: Amaya Hamaker.

Newell Bearden Shearon, 71, passed away on July 27, 2023 at his residence.
He was born on December 14, 1951 in Clarksville, TN to James Horace and Lou Esther Bearden Shearon who preceded him in death.
Newell had a passion for racing. He enjoyed visiting the dirt track and cheering on his son and grandson from the sidelines.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Donna Shearon; son, Ben (Jessi) Shearon; brothers, Mike and Tim Shearon; and grandsons, Ty and Chase Shearon.

Obituary for Jamal Azad Bekhtyar
Age 36 of White House passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023 at his home. He was born February 5, 1987 in Nashville, TN to Azad Jamal & Linda Tietz Bekhtyar. He was a 2005 graduate of White House High School, where he played football. He continued to be a huge White House Blue Devils fan. He then graduated in 2010 with an Associated Degree in Nursing from Aquinas College. He enjoyed going to the gym to workout, especially with his sister and was very disciplined with fitness. He loved his big sister and his two nephews more than anything else and loved spending time with them. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather; maternal grandparents; uncle, Hawjeen Bekhtyar.
He is survived by his paternal grandmother, Sabiha Bekhtyar; his loving parents, Azad Jamal & Linda Tietz Bekhtyar, White House, TN; sister, Scala (Kameron) Omar; nephews, Zana Omar and Zanyar Omar, all of White House, TN.

Obituary for Presley William Nave Sr.
Presley William Nave Sr., age 91, of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at the NorthCrest Medical Center. Graveside services will be conducted at 10am Saturday, July 29th in the Springfield Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Nave was born June 14, 1932 in Chattanooga, TN to the late Clarence and Margaret Nave. He was an All Star Baseball, Football, and Basketball player for the Tennessee School for the Deaf in Knoxville, was a Liner Typist for a newspaper printing company, and was a member of the First Baptist Church in downtown Nashville where he taught the Silent Bible Class for the Deaf. Most of all, Mr. Nave was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Nave was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby “Jynell” McClard Nave; brother, Clarence F. Nave; and a sister, Margaret Bolton.
He is survived by his sons, Presley William Nave Jr., Tyrone L. Nave, and Tim A. Nave; 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Obituary for Regena Gail Biggs
Regena Gail Biggs, age 73 of Springfield, left this world and went home to be with her heavenly Father on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Vanco Manor in Goodlettsville.
Regena was born April 9, 1950 in Mt. Vernon, IN to the late Roy and Eva Mae Gibbs Coulter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eldon Biggs, and sisters, Louise Wooden, Mary Alice Murphy, Jeraldine Smith, and Janie LaVeau. She was a Christian and a member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Greenbrier. She graduated from Greenbrier High School Class of 1968 and then went to work for Taylor Impression in Nashville for 36 years where she retired in 2004 as an office manager.
Surviving her are her sister, Faye Morphis of Springfield; brothers and sisters-in-law, Roy David and Wanda Coulter of Millersville and James Boyd and Ballerie Coulter of Springfield; a host of nieces and nephews and Faye’s grandchildren that will truly miss her as she loved them as her own; her best friends who were more like sisters, Helen Chowning of Cedar Hill and Joyce Wall of Clarksville; her canine friend Sophie which she had enjoyed her relationship with the last 10 years.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at 3:00 PM in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Bro. Al Hodges of Crossroads Church and Bro. Jim Ryan of Madison Creek Church officiating. Burial will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of service.

Larry Thomas Brown, 73, of Portland, passed away on Tuesday July 18, 2023, at VA Medical Center in Nashville.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday July 22nd at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Dale Swearingen officiating. The family received friends on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Larry was born March 3, 1950, in Greenbrier, to the late Willie Austin and Marie Elizabeth Raymer Brown. He was a graduate of White House High School Class of 1968. Larry was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during Vietnam. He was the recipient of the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal. Larry was a retired inspector with Ford Glass and was of the Assembly of God faith. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, cutting wood and grass, his guns, and anything that allowed him to be outdoors. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Joyce Marlin and Roy Brown.
Larry is survived by his wife of 47 years: Judy Benton Brown of Portland, by his sons: Wayne (Christina Roddy) Brown of Pleasant View, Shane Brown of Greenbrier, and Brian Brown of Nashville, by his grandchildren: Austin Brown, Shelby Brown, and Logan Brown, and by his brothers: Randy (Frances) Brown of Hendersonville, Tim Brown of Millersville, and Danny Brown of Millersville.

Ray V. Evitts, age 80, of Springfield, passed away Friday, July 21, 2023 at his home.
Mr. Evitts wishes were to be cremated, and there are no services scheduled at this time.
Mr. Evitts was born March 26, 1943 in Russellville, KY to the late Virgil and Roxy Evitts. He was a farmer and farmed most of his life.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Evitts was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Evitts; daughter, Brenda Fugate; and a grandson, Jo Ed Fugate.
He is survived by his sons, David Ray Evitts, Donald Wayne Evitts, and Roy V. Evitts; daughter, Teresa Brown; 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and a sister, Lois Marie Evitts.

Elizabeth Catherine Anderson Krisle, age 82, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Morningside of Springfield.
Her remains were cremated and a private family burial will take place at a later date.
Mrs. Krisle was born April 5, 1941 in Greenbrier, TN to the late Charles Edgar and Annie Frances Derseweh Anderson. She worked as a bookkeeper and accountant and was a member of the Greenbrier First Baptist Church. “Betty”, as she was affectionately known, loved growing her flowers, loved the outdoors, watching the wildlife in her backyard and especially feeding her hummingbirds. She enjoyed her many truck rides with her husband and supporting her grandchildren in the activities they enjoyed. Her family says she decorated the entire house, literally, for every single holiday. Cooking and the family gatherings were her most favorite things.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her precious little dog, Oreo. Mrs. Krisle is survived by her husband of 63 years, Kenneth Krisle; son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Christy Krisle; daughter, Vonda Krisle Jones (Jay Hall); grandchildren, Bethany (Michael) Lamb, Jordan (Zac) Mayo, Riley Hughes, and Kendra Jones; and great-grandchildren, Isaiah Lamb, Joshua Lamb and Izaac Mayo.

Mrs. Kilgore was born on September 23, 1936, in Pleasant View, Tennessee. Although she helped her husband on the farm, her most treasured occupation was caring for her family. She was an avid country music fan, enjoyed watching westerns on TV, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Kilgore was a member of New Hope Free Will Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Nan Moore McNeese; step-father, Willie Moore; and brothers, Ken Moore and Phillip Stiles.

Brenda Faye Evitts Fugate, age 52, of Adams, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at her home.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 12pm in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Brother Jake Townsend officiating. Burial followed in the Bellwood Cemetery with John Roland, Dan Hodges, Daniel, Baker, Phillip Brown, Ed Thomas and Michael Keith serving as pallbearers.
Visitation was held at the funeral home on Friday, July 21, 2023 from 4-8pm and again on Saturday from 10am until the hour of service at 12pm.
Mrs. Fugate was born November 7, 1970 in Russellville, KY to Mr. Ray Evitts of Springfield and the late, Mrs. Mildred Carter Evitts. She worked as a Nutritionalist for the Robertson County School System and was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.
Mrs. Fugate is preceded in death by her son, Joe E. Fugate, II. In addition to her father, Mrs. Fugate is survived by her husband, John W. Fugate; son, John Foxx Fugate; daughters, Daphne Elaine Fugate and Alexia Nicole Fugate; brothers, David Evitts, Donald Evitts, and Roy Evitts; sister, Teresa Evitts Brown; and grandchildren, Gabriel Fugate, Madelyn Fugate, Helen Fugate, and Miguel Fugate.

Mr. Dowlen was born on February 13, 1944 in Ashland City, Tennessee, to the late Leonard Morgan & Marjorie Virginia Parker Dowlen. He was a retired carpenter and house framer in the construction business and worked for Quadjay Manufacturing. He enjoyed drag racing and camping and was a member of New Hope Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Debbie Diane Nalley and step-daughter, Sandra Renee Buckner.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Judy Jones Dowlen; children, Donna Dowlen Steward, Sandra Jean Tyler, James Leonard (Theresia) Dowlen, Jr., brothers, David Michael (Mary) Dowlen, Freddy Ray (Debbie) Dowlen, Jeffery Lee (Mona) Dowlen, and Todd Dowlen; sisters, Lucille Bannister and Renae McKiven; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-great-grandchild.

Mr. Hand was born August 16, 1962, in Springfield, to A.C. and Tiney Mae Hand Jr. He enjoyed drawing, painting, and playing guitar.

Obituary for Ray Edward Stribling
Ray Edward Stribling, 84, of Madison, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. He was preceded in death by his parents Ray Doud Stribling and Edna Harrington Stribling, as well as daughter-in-law Dana Light Stribling.
Ray is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nancy Shockley Stribling, as well as three children: Carey Stribling, Mark (Dana) Stribling and Tracey (Mike) Farr. Ray is survived by three grandsons: Tyler (Lauren) Stribling, Aaron Stribling and Shelby Stribling. Ray also had four great-granddaughters: Sam, Bella, Alex and Avery.
Ray was born on Oct. 16, 1938. He was a graduate of East High School, where he played football. He counted several of his high school teammates as some of his closest lifelong friends. He went to play college football at Wyoming and Tennessee Tech.
Ray worked for the Metro Nashville Fire Department for over 35 years until his retirement in 1999. He rose to the rank of Captain and he served most of his career at Station 31 in Madison. Ray had a great impact as a mentor to a number of young firefighters.
Visitation was held Tuesday, July 18, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and a funeral service will occur Wednesday, July 19th at 10:00 am. Burial followed at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 1150 S. Dickerson Pike, Goodlettsville, TN.

Ms. Joan was born June 25, 1936, in White House, to the late William and Effie Mae Lassiter O’Neal. She was a retired seamstress from Acme Boot, a member of Eastland Heights Baptist Church, and was an Ambassador of Windland South Retirement Center. Ms. Joan loved keeping up with her family and friends on Facebook, being a grandmother, and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Jordan Elias “Shorty” Beers, Sr., by her daughter: Pamela Beers Casteel, by her sons: Jordan Elias Beers, Jr., and Toney Beers, and by her siblings: Vernon O’Neal, Sr., William O’Neal, Lawson Wiggins, Helen Allen, Ruth Fuqua, Bertha West, and Louise Harper.
Ms. Joan is survived by her daughter: Kay Beers Lampley and husband Butch of Fairview, by her son: Terry Beers and wife Susan of Springfield, by her grandchildren: Jamie (Christine) Casteel, A.J. Jerry was born May 13, 1939, in Greenbrier, to the late Ray and Elizabeth Spry Wood. He was the retired Body Shop Manager at Payne Brothers in Springfield, and was a member of West End Free Will Baptist Church. Jerry enjoyed gardening, working in his yard, his 1984 Cutlass, and watching UT Vols sports. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Johnnie Wood, Bobby Wood, and Fannie Mae Wood.

Obituary for Magdalena Gertrude Perry
Magda Perry, age 81 of Cross Plains, passed away Friday, July 14, 2023 at The Residence of Alive Hospice. She was born February 18, 1942 in West Germany to Richard & Emma Neumuller Sunkel. She worked as a waitress in her yuonger years. Magda met and married her husband William while he was serving in Germany in the U.S. Army. After moving to America, she became a U.S. citizen in 1960. She was very proud of her citizenship and believed everyone should take the appropriate steps to become a citizen if they were going to live in this country. She could overcome any problem she encountered in a positive way.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Perry; son, Mike Mischler;1 brother; 1 sister. She is survived by her son, Jerry (Audrey) Mischler, Cross Plains, TN; brothers, Halmut Sunkel, Pirmasens, Germany and Rudy Sunkel, Canada; sister, Rosie Sunkel, Pirmasens, Germany; 2 grandchildren, Tracey & Stephen; 3 great-grandchildren, Peyton, Devon and Aiden; 2 great-great-grandchildren Jynsen and Donoven; niece, Linda Stanfill;, Loudon, TN nephew, Deven Newman, FL.
A Graveside service was held Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at 1pm in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bob Snodgrass officiating. Interment followed with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family was Tuesday, July 18, 2023 10am until 12 noon at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House.

Obituary for Bob Carr
Robert Lee Carr “Bob”, age 83, of Pleasant View, Tennessee, died Thursday, July 13, 2023, at his home.
A graveside service was conducted at Joelton Hills Memory Gardens in Joelton at 10:00AM on Monday, July 17th, with Bro. Jon Justice officiating. Burial followed with family & friends serving as pallbearers.
There was no visitation at the funeral home prior to the graveside service.
Mr. Carr was born on October 21, 1939, in Baxter, Tennessee, to the late Malon & Fannie Uhles Carr. He was a retired welder from Herndon & Merry, Inc. in Nashville.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Ann Carr; grandson, Jordan Carr; brother, Buddy Carr; sisters, Sandra Neeley & Debbie Thompson; daughter-in-law, Frances Carr; and son-in-law, Paul Branham.
Survivors include his sons, Barry (Abby) Carr and Kevin Carr; daughters, Lurenda Branham, Paula (Gerald) Hatfield, and Jennifer Fowler; 9 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Ronnie Dell Inman, age 64, of Hartsville, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at the Trousdale Medical Center.
Graveside services were conducted at 1pm Monday, July 17th in the Springfield Memorial Gardens.
The family received friends from 10:30am until 12:30pm Monday at the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield.
Mr. Inman was born September 18, 1958 in Robertson County, to the late Davis Murphey and Nancy Nevelyn Inman. He was an Electronics Technician with Gaylord Entertainment for many years.
Mr. Inman is survived by his partner, Tethi Inman; sons, Ronnie Dell Inman Jr., Adam William Davis Inman, Jacob Henry Inman, and Benjamin Garner Inman; 3 grandchildren, Bailey Jade Inman, Tommy Dell Inman, and 1 on the way; brother, Todd (Angie) Inman; and a niece, Nancy June (Chase) Damer.
