Man’s Body Found In White House Walmart Parking Lot Sunday
WHITE HOUSE TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Around 9:00am Sunday morning a mans body was discovered in a vehicle in the parking lot of Walmart in White House.
White House Police responded and after an investigation detectives determined that the 62 year old man had likely died of natural causes.
White House Police Chief Pat Brady told Smokey Barn News, “We are investigating a subject that passed away in his vehicle in the Walmart parking lot. There’s nothing suspicious and the death is being treated as natural causes. We’ve been in touch with the medical examiners office in Robertson County and it’s being treated as a natural death.”
The gentleman was discovered on the west side of the parking lot where there was not a lot of foot traffic. He was in a blue Dodge Caravan reclined in his seat and out of sight from passerby’s. Police say he had likely been there for several days. “He probably died in his sleep.” Brady said.
The area around the vehicle was taped off while police, fire and medical staff conducted an investigation. The scene was visible to customers who reached out to Smokey Barn News wondering what had occurred.
According to Chief Brady, the man was discovered by a couple who spent the night there in an RV.
White House Police, White House Fire and Robertson County EMS responded.
