Milk Tanker Rollover Could Have I-24 East At MM21 Congested Til 9PM 

CEDAR HILL: (Smokey Barn News) – A rollover crash is causing delays in I-24 East as officials work to clear the scene.

The crash occurred just before 3:30 pm. The overturned tractor-trailer (tanker) hauling milk crashed at mile marker 21 on the Eastbound side of the interstate.  MAP

According to Assistant Chief Russell Gupton with Robertson County EMS, the 33-year-old male driver from Kentucky was in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. An update on his condition was not immediately available.

One lane is open but traffic is moving slowly. If possible officials recommend commuters find an alternative route.

According to Robertson County Emergency Management Agency Deputy Director Chance Holmes, it could be 8 or 9 pm before the tanker is cleared.
