Millersville Area Shooting Under Investigation

MILLERSVILLE TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – An early morning shooting near Millersville is under investigation and authorities are looking for assistance from the public.

The shooting occurred shortly after midnight Friday. Positionally the home (located in the 700 block of Hogans Branch Rd) is centered between White House, Millersville and Shackle Island, not far from McMurty Rd., though the home carries a Hendersonville address. LOCATION OF SHOOTING

The Sumner County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation.  Upon arrival, deputy’s located a 20-year-old victim with life-threatening injuries from an apparent gunshot wound to the neck.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where they are receiving medical treatment. All we know about the shooting so far (according to authorities) is that the victim (a male in his 20s) resides at the home where the shooting occurred and it appears (preliminarily) that the victim knew the person responsible.
