My Father’s House Mission Marks Ribbon Cutting, Officially Opens
SPRINGFIELD, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – It has been a long-awaited day for My Father’s House Mission in Springfield, Tennessee. REPORTED EARLIER ON CONSTRUCTION. At times, organizers were not sure this day would come. On October 21, MFHM held a ribbon-cutting and open house for the community.
The mission officially opened its doors at 101 10th Ave. East on November 1 at 5 p.m., MAP, where they will house displaced members of the community through the winter months.
According to Board member Sheila Byrd, there are beds available, and Thanksgiving meals will be served.
