One Injured In Rollover In Springfield– S. Main CLOSED At Lahr Rd
SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – One person was transported to an area hospital following a rollover crash involving a Springfield city dump truck Monday afternoon.
The crash occurred on South Main St at Martin Luther King Jr. Park around 3 pm. Traffic is being diverted at Lahr Rd. MAP
Springfield City Manager Ryan Martin told Smokey Barn News that the driver was transported to TriStar NorthCrest but was expected to recover.
Expect Main St to be closed until about 5 or 6 pm. A wrecker is currently en route according to Martin. The cause of the crash is still under investigation. “The important thing is that our driver is OK,” Martin said.
