Orlinda Home Devastated By Fire Tuesday

ORLINDA TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Orlinda Fire Chief Dusty Johnson was having lunch when the smell of smoke led him outside. A home just two doors from the station had ignited.

The home is located on Hwy 49 in downtown Orlinda. The call came in just before noon.

Firefighters from Orlinda, Cross Plains, White House Community, and Springfield all responded to the blaze and did their best to save the home but according to Chief Johnson, the home is a total loss.

Officials tell Smokey Barn News that no one was home and no injuries were reported. According to Chief Johnson, the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
