Portland Woman Dies After Hit & Run, THP Searching For Black Pickup
PORTLAND TENNESSEE (Smokey Barn News) – The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating after a Portland woman (on foot) was struck and killed by a vehicle.
The accident occurred on Highway 52 near Woodcrest Pointe in Portland around 10 pm Friday night, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol. LOCATION OF ACCIDENT
The victim, now identified as 61-year-old Cheryl Flatt of Portland, was initially transported to Tri-Star Portland but did not survive her injuries.
According to the THP, the vehicle could be an early 2000’s black Chevy/GMC pickup with a missing driver’s side mirror.
