Quick Mart Robbed At Gunpoint In Springfield Early Tuesday

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – A man with a gun walked into the Gold Star Market located on the corner of 5th Ave and Central in Springfield early Tuesday, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money.

The robbery occurred at 7:22a.m. The suspect first entered the store and asked about the price of a can of beer then left the store. Minutes later he returned with a gun and demanded money. What he received was $5 and a pack of smokes, hardly worth the 8 to 12 years he will be facing in the state penitentiary once he is captured.

Springfield Police are hoping that someone in the community can help them identify who this man is. If you think you have seen this man you are encouraged to contact police as soon as possible.
