RC Schools’ James Marshall Receives Statewide Recognition For Technology Leadership
ROBERTSON COUNTY TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – James Marshall, Supervisor of Technology for Robertson County Schools, was recently honored with the Dr. Howard Cisco Outstanding Chief Technology Officer Award by the Tennessee Educational Technology Association, according to information released from Robertson County Schools.
This award is presented to a TETA member who has demonstrated outstanding achievement and leadership in implementing technology to improve education at the district level and is the highest honor that TETA presents.
Nominations were deliberated on by the board which represents the entire state.

“To be chosen by your peers and to be considered in the ranks of previous winners…..that’s a big deal,” said Marshall. “I’m honored to receive it.”
From an informal group that began networking more than 20 years ago, to a statewide group of more than 390 members, TETA is now a recognized asset to the technology needs of Tennessee education. Marshall is a founding member, a three-time past president and a two-time Member of the Year recipient. His contributions and value have been recognized and solidified by his selection for this, the highest recognition afforded by the group.
