Rob. Co Tree Harvested For TN Capital Christmas Tree

SPRINGFIELD, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – The Official 2023 State of Tennessee Christmas tree was harvested in Springfield Thursday morning. The tree, located at Thompson Rd. in Springfield was donated by a local family.
It’s almost hard to believe that the giant tree once sat on the table inside Sue Hollister’s home over 30 years ago. Sue donated the tree after Bill Tolbert with the state of Tennessee noticed it as he passed by some weeks ago.
The tree is headed to the Tennessee Capital where it will be displayed in the Charlotte side of the Capital. The official tree-lighting ceremony will be held on November 27. See video for more info and interviews.
