ROBERTSON COUNTY TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Tucson Border Patrol agents say they have arrested a convicted sex offender from Robertson County Tennessee trying to enter the US illegally.

According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection on Friday morning, Ajo Station agents arrested 32-year-old Honduran national Jose Pineda-Torres near Ajo, Arizona for entering the country illegally.

Officials say that during processing, a records check revealed Pineda was convicted in 2012 for Facilitation of Attempted Aggravated Sexual Battery in Robertson County, Tennessee.

Border officials say Pineda now faces criminal charges for illegally re-entering the United States. Below is  Jose Pineda-Torres in 2012.
