Robertson County Farmers Market To Open May 7th
SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – The Springfield-Robertson County Farmers Market will open for the first day of operation on Saturday May 7th at the Robertson County Fairgrounds. MAP DIRECTIONS The market will operate from 8:30 am to 12:00 noon each Saturday through the end of September.
The Farmers Market provides customers with locally grown vegetables, fruits, ornamental plants, honey, beef and locally baked goods. Market vendors are all from Robertson County farmers and provide products grown or produced on their farms.
Since market vendors offer locally grown products, the items for sale at the market, will vary during the year. Produce and fruit will be seasonal since it is all grown here in Robertson County.
Most folks are aware that strawberries are ripe in May so look for them at the market as well as ornamental plants, fresh greens, beef and more.
