Rollover Crash Very Close Call For Springfield Man
SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – It was a close call for a Springfield man when his vehicle left the roadway and flipped before hitting a tree, finally landing upside down on its roof in the front yard of a home.
The accident occurred just after 11:15 pm Saturday evening in the 5700 block of New Chapel Rd. MAP
Seeing whats left of the vehicle, it’s hard to imagine how the driver managed to walk away with just bumps and bruises. It appears that the vehicle was on its side when it impacted the tree caving in the roof of the vehicle directly over the driver’s seat.
According to Springfield Police, preliminarily, the slick road conditions lead to the crash that first responders said could have easily taken the man’s life. Drugs, alcohol or distracted driving did not appear to be factors in the crash.
