Search Warrant Leads Police To Drugs And Cash At Greenbrier Home

GREENBRIER TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – On Wednesday a search warrant executed by police netted drugs and cash at a Greenbrier home and two individuals arrested at the home are facing a myriad of charges.

Greenbrier Police went to a home located at 2225 Nunley Street in Greenbrier on Wednesday morning to serve a warrant.  Valarie A Cox, 40, of Madison Tennessee, and Shane Adams, 37, of Greenbrier were both taken into custody.

Lt. Buster Locklayer, Lt. Curt Allen, and Detective Charlie Arms with the Greenbrier Police Department executed the search warrant. A police K9 alerted at several points inside the home.

Inside the home, Police allegedly found an assortment of drugs and other drug-related paraphernalia consistent with the sales of illegal drugs and a shotgun.

According to Greenbrier Police, Methamphetamine, Fentanyl, Marijuana, Heroin as well as prescription pills, and about $1000 in cash were allegedly found inside the home.

Cox. was transported to the Robertson County Detention Facility in Springfield. Cox has been charged with: Violation Of Probation, Drug, Mfg/del/sal/poss Sch I, Drug, Mfg/del/sale/poss Sch Ii, Meth X2, Simple Possession Of Sch Iv X2, Simple Poss Sch Vi/casual Exchange, Possession Legend Drug X2, Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdea, Poss Of Stolen Property, Possession Of A Weapon During A Dangerous Felony, And Resisting Stop, Arrest. Her bond has been set at $200,500.00.

Adams. was also transported to the Robertson County Detention Facility in Springfield. Adams was charged with: Drug, Mfg/del/sal/poss Sch I, Drug, Mfg/del/sale/poss Sch Ii, Meth, Drug, Mfg/del/sale/poss Sch Ii, Other, Simple Poss Sch Vi/casual Exchange, Simple Possession Of Sch Iv X2, Possession Legend Drug X2, Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdea,  Poss Of Stolen Property, Possession Of A Weapon During A Dangerous Felony, Unlawful Carrying Or Possession Of A Weapon And Resisting Stop, Arrest. His bond has been set at $202.500.00.

As of 8 pm Thursday evening both Cox and Adams remain behind bars.
