Springfield High Football Receives State Proclamation
SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – “It was all about our Yellow Jackets,” said, Representative Sabi ‘Doc’ Kumar, as he and Senator Roberts presented a Proclamation from the TN Legislature at SHS Friday (April 13, 2018) celebrating the Yellow Jackets’ runner-up achievement in the Class 4A State Football Championship.
“State Senator Kerry Roberts and I, as your State Rep, presented each player with a copy of the Proclamation in the official gold embossed TN State Seal folder!
“Thank you, Coach Dustin Wilson, Principal Teresa Leavitt, Assistant Principal Larry Staggs and the entire SHS student body for a most memorable season! We are so proud of each of you!
