Springfield Woman Charged In Murder Plot To Protect Daughter
SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News)- On Friday, November 18, Dana Dunnivant, 51 of Springfield was arrested on a Warrant for Arrest for Solicitation to Commit First Degree Murder. Dunnivant is currently being held in the Robertson County Detention Facility in Springfield under a $200,000 bond.
According to a release from Springfield Police, Dunnivant is alleged to have gone to her ex-husband, James McGuire, in an attempt to persuade him to murder their daughter’s boyfriend, William R. Stone, III.
Stone is alleged to have committed domestic assaults against Dunnivant’s daughter, according to police.
Dunnivant is alleged to have approached McGuire (her x-husband) to have him murder Mr. Stone because of his alleged domestic violence against their daughter. Dunnivant wanted Stone killed because he poses an ongoing threat to their daughter’s safety, according to the release.
McGuire contacted the Springfield Police Department, and Ms. Dunnivant was arrested on a warrant for Solicitation to Commit First Degree Murder.
