Springfield’s Advance Auto Parts Robbed At Gunpoint

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Around 2 pm Thursday afternoon a white male entered Advance Auto Parts on Memorial Blvd in Springfield, brandished a gun and demanded money. MAP

According to Springfield Police, the suspect, wearing a mask, entered the store and pulled out a “large handgun,” and pointed it at the clerk. The subject then jumped over the counter and emptied the cash register.

The subject fled on foot to awaiting silver (earlier reported as gold) SUV with a rust-colored driver side door.

The vehicle was last seen in the area of Matthews Street and 16th Ave. MAP

Springfield Police are still gathering details and searching the area. As more information is released, we will bring it to you.
