SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – On Wednesday evening a woman walked into the Dollar General store located across from Springfield High School, brandished a gun, and demanded money. (see video below) Police have now identified a suspect.

Police say Megan Pires is the woman that walked into the Dollar General last night and they have put out a warrant for her arrest.

Pires is also wanted by the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office for alleged Aggravated Robbery in an unrelated incident. The second incident allegedly occurred out in the county after Pires left Dollar General Wednesday evening.  Pires is also facing 1 count of theft of property.

Pires is to be considered armed and dangerous. She may be in the company of a tall black male with dreadlocks. They are traveling in a gold Lincoln 4 door with chrome wheels, possibly in the Joelton/Whites Creek area of Davidson County.

Woman Robs Springfield Dollar General At Gunpoint

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) On Wednesday evening just before 8 pm, a woman walked into the Dollar General store located at 5227 Hwy 76 across from Springfield High School, brandished a gun, and demanded money.

The woman displayed a black firearm and demanded the money from the register, according to Springfield Police.

The female appeared to be around 5’05’’ 140 pounds with brown hair.

She was wearing tight black leggings, a black hoodie with a hot pink undershirt.

The suspect fled in a gold older style Lincoln or Cadillac 4 door vehicle.
