Suspects Wanted For Trailer & Vehicle Thefts Captured

ROBERTSON COUNTY TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – An investigation by the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office has led to the arrest of 28-year-old William Alexander Benson and 22-year-old  Dillon Matthew Adams in relation to several trailers and vehicle thefts.

Over the past few weeks, the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office has received several reports of trailer and vehicle thefts throughout Robertson County. Investigators located and recovered several of the stolen items within different locations of the county, and have returned them to the owners. William Benson and Dillon Adams are currently being held at the Robertson County Detention Facility on the below charges.

William Benson of Springfield, TN- 2 Counts of Theft of Property over $1,000. Combined bond of $8,500.

Dillon Adams of Springfield, TN- 2 Counts of Theft over $2,500, and 1 count of Theft over $1,000. Combined bond of $25,000.

“I am proud of our Sheriff’s Office team with their quick response in following up on these crimes, and reuniting victims with their property,” stated Sheriff Michael Van Dyke.
