Officials tell Smokey Barn News that the 19-year-old occupant (believed to be from the Joelton/Whites Creek area) was pronounced deceased at the scene.

What we understand preliminarily is, the accident involves just one vehicle (an SUV) with potentially as many as six occupants. Officials say the vehicle rolled causing one of the passengers to be ejected onto the roadway. The vehicle landed on its wheels in the middle of Turnersville Rd.

According to Assistant Chief Russell Gupton with Robertson County EMS, “There were reportedly multiple occupants in the vehicle. Possibly as many as 6. All occupants found at the scene by our service refused treatment.”

The Tennessee Highway Patrol is the investigating agency. The THP has indicated that they will not be releasing any information about the crash, including the name of the victim, citing an ongoing investigation.

“We are working with Robertson County Assistant D.A. Jason White and his office. All we can confirm at this time is this crash is a single-vehicle fatal rollover that involves an ejection,” PIO Bill Miller THP

The deceased was transported to the Center for Forensic Medicine in Nashville where an autopsy will be performed.

The Pleasant View Volunteer Fire Department,  Robertson County EMS, the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office and the THP all responded to the scene.
