Heavy Damage To A 2nd Home At TN/KY Border

ADAMS TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – The director for the Robertson County Emergency Management Agency, R.L. Douglas tells Smokey Barn News that a tornado has touched down this afternoon by the intersection of Hugh Gill and Mcgee Rd in the Adams area at the Tennessee/Kentucky line.

One home has been destroyed across the KY line in Logan County and a second home in the Adams area has suffered severe damage.

Family tell Smokey Barn News that the home that was severely damaged was owned by Brent Edwards who was also the owner of the Health Kick store located in Springfield. Mr. Edwards recently passed away in his sleep of Kidney failure on January 30th. (More)

Emergency crews are on the scene and it is currently raining heavily. No injuries reported at this time.
