Two Storms With Damaging Winds & Hail Headed to RC
ROBERTSON COUNTY TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Today we can expect damaging winds and hail. The first storm heading toward us will be here around 4:30 p.m. In West Tennessee it has already produced golf ball size hail.
Conditions are right for it to produce rain, high winds and hail. A second storm will be passing through our area around 9:00 p.m. tonight. If you have weather radios listen in for further announcements.
If you have a scanner you can listen to the ham radio weather spotters on 147.345 Mhz.
Anytime there is severe weather the spotters net is activated and reports are made on the air. This, in turn, is received at the National Weather Service in Nashville.
The rain will be moving out in the morning and we will experience warm weather for two days.
Thursday will produce another stormy day with weather similar to what we are having today.
Today and Thursday will be scattered thunderstorms all over Middle Tn.
The weekend will bring us cool and dry air and should be a pleasant weekend.
