Veteran Don Langford Honored By The Coopertown Men’s Club

COOPERTOWN TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – The Coopertown Men’s Club took a break during their December 8th meeting to honor Don Langford, one of their veteran members. Don Langford, (Seated) has been a member of the Coopertown Men’s Club since April 1971, Don Langford served in U.S. Army National Guard as an Armor Crewman Sergeant from 1966 Thru 1975.

The Coopertown Men’s Club honors its veterans every year according to their age. This event normally takes place during the Coopertown Men’s Club last Turkey Shoot fundraiser in November but this year had to be moved inside because of the weather.

Bob Lipscomb presents Don Langford, a plaque thanking him for his service along with a Tennessee State flag that flow over the state capital and a certificate signed by the governor.
